Generally, we associate innovation with Novelty, Newness, Creativity etc. Sometimes
innovation is also referred to some inventions.
A meaning of Innovation on Google says, ‘Innovation can refer to something new, such
as an invention, or the practice of developing and introducing new things. An innovation
is often a new product, but it can also be a new way of doing something or even a new
way of thinking.
This is what Innovation is all about, i.e., a process where the person is thinking in a
different way to make the product more useful and utilitarian. This is where the actual
role of a good design thinker begins. A blend of design and innovation will always pave
way to think that design complemented with innovation is a gist of novel ideas, creative
mindset and approach to think differently.
The modern world looks at innovation from different angle and the success has been
measured in different terms.
‘Keep it simple’ was the mantra given by the late Steve Jobs, founder of Apple Inc
Corporation.

what it means. So, we don’t talk a lot about design around here, we just talk about how
things work. Most people think it’s about how they look, but it’s about how they work”.
If you look at the design aspects of Apple products, especially MacBook then you will
realize that deliberate efforts have been taken to make the laptop look more simpler yet
offering a great visual appeal. The very essence of Innovation has been to make things
